Meditation 115

Refilled with Power

Acts 1:8 (AMP) But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

Acts 2:4 (NKJV) And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

On the Day of Pentecost, the promised Holy Spirit came upon the disciples as a mighty rushing wind and filled them with the power, the confidence, and the ability, they would need to be Christ’s witnesses. And as an outward sign of His arrival and His infilling, the disciples began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

In Acts chapter 4 Peter and John were arrested for healing a man and preaching the Gospel of Christ. The following morning, they were brought before the Rulers of the people and members of the Sanhedrin who demanded they tell them by what power they healed the sick. Then Peter, filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit, stood and explained the Gospel message and that their authority and power came through Jesus Christ. The Rulers, after some discussion, threatened Peter and John and ordered them not to speak or teach about the Name of Jesus. When they were permitted to go they returned to the other disciples and told all that the Rulers had said. When the disciples heard of this they lifted up their voices and prayed to be filled with boldness to proclaim Christ fearlessly.

Acts 4:31 (NKJV) And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

The disciples were still baptized in the Holy Spirt but after the threats and orders given by the Rulers they needed to be refreshed and strengthened with Holy Spirits power again. This is an example of how we can exchange our weakness for His strength when we live in covenant with Jesus.

Ephesians 6:10 (AMP) In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Life along the Narrow Path must be lived through the power of the Holy Spirit that lives in our inner man (our spirit).

Ephesians 3:16 (AMP) May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].

Staying full of the power available to us through Holy Spirit is vital to growing our relationship with Father and Jesus. When you are discouraged, hopeless, depressed, and fell like you cannot go on you need to be reinforced or refilled with Holy Spirit’s power. 

Ending Thoughts

The disciples after being threatened and ordered to stop preaching about Jesus needed to be refilled with Holy Spirit’s power. They had used the power they had to heal and preach and now needed more power to carry on. Like the disciples we too need to be refilled with power. When you feel dry and far away from God just ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with His power and He will.

Recarregado com poder

Atos 1:8 (AMP) Mas você receberá poder (capacidade, eficiência e poder) quando o Espírito Santo veio sobre você, e você será minhas testemunhas em Jerusalém e toda a Judéia e Samaria e para os fins (o próprio limites) da terra.

Atos 2:4 (NVI) E todos ficaram cheios do Espírito Santo e começaram a falar em outras línguas, conforme o Espírito lhes concedia que falassem.

No dia de Pentecostes, o Espírito Santo prometido veio sobre os discípulos como um poderoso vento impetuoso e os encheu com o poder, a confiança e a habilidade, eles precisariam ser testemunhas de Cristo. E como um sinal externo de Sua chegada e Seu enchimento, os discípulos começaram a falar em outras línguas, conforme o Espírito lhes concedia que falassem.

Em Atos capítulo 4, Pedro e João foram presos por curar um homem e pregar o Evangelho de Cristo. Na manhã seguinte, foram levados perante os Governantes do povo e membros do Sinédrio, que exigiram que lhes dissessem com que poder curavam os doentes. Então Pedro, cheio e controlado pelo Espírito Santo, levantou-se e explicou a mensagem do Evangelho e que sua autoridade e poder vieram através de Jesus Cristo. Os governantes, após alguma discussão, ameaçaram Pedro e João e ordenaram que eles não falassem ou ensinassem sobre o Nome de Jesus. Quando lhes foi permitido ir, voltaram para os outros discípulos e disseram tudo o que os Governantes tinham dito. Quando os discípulos ouviram isso, levantaram suas vozes e oraram para serem cheios de ousadia para proclamar a Cristo destemidamente.

Atos 4:31 Quando oraram, o lugar em que estavam reunidos foi abalado; e todos ficaram cheios do Espírito Santo, e falaram a palavra de Deus com ousadia.

Os discípulos ainda eram batizados no Espírito Santo, mas depois das ameaças e ordens dadas pelos Governantes, precisavam ser revigorados e fortalecidos novamente com o poder dos Espíritos Sagrados. Este é um exemplo de como podemos trocar nossa fraqueza por Sua força quando vivemos em aliança com Jesus.

Efésios 6:10 (AMP) Em conclusão, seja forte no Senhor [seja fortalecido através de sua união com Ele]; retire sua força Ele [aquela força que Sua ilimitada pode prover]. A vida ao longo do Caminho Estreito deve ser vivida através do poder do Espírito Santo que vive em nosso homem interior (nosso espírito).

Efésios 3:16 (AMP) Que Ele permita que você, do rico tesouro de Sua glória, seja fortalecido e reforçado com grande poder no homem interior pelo Espírito [Santo] que habita em seu íntimo ser e personalidade.

Permanecer cheio do poder disponível para nós através do Espírito Santo é vital para o crescimento de nosso relacionamento com o Pai e com Jesus. Quando você está desanimado, sem esperança, deprimido e caiu como se não pudesse continuar, você precisa ser reforçado ou reabastecido com o poder do Espírito Santo.

Concluindo a meditação

Os discípulos, depois de serem ameaçados e ordenados a parar de pregar sobre Jesus, precisavam ser recarregados com o poder do Espírito Santo. Eles usaram o poder que tinham para curar e pregar e agora precisavam de mais poder para continuar. Como os discípulos, também precisamos ser recarregados com poder. Quando você se sentir seco e distante de Deus, basta pedir ao Espírito Santo para preenchê-lo com o Seu poder e Ele o fará.

Companionship

Psalm 25:10 (AMP) All the paths of the Lord are mercy and steadfast love, even truth and faithfulness are they for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Psalm 25:14 (AMP) The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning.

Companionship belongs to those who revere and worship the Lord by keeping His commandment of, “Love one another as I have loved you.”  Life on the Lord’s Narrow Path is all about building a relationship with Him and Father as Holy Spirit works to mold us inwardly into the image of Jesus.

As your relationship grows you will recognize Him as merciful, steadfast in His love for you, truthful in all His ways, and faithful to His word. As your relationship grows you will come to know Him as your constant companion Who is for you and not against

Ending Thoughts

Stay on the Narrow Path by obeying the commandment to love and you will find the Lord to be the lover of your soul through Whom all good things flow.

Companheirismo

Salmo 25:10 (AMP) Todas as veredas do Senhor são misericórdia e amor constante, sim, verdade e fidelidade, para os que guardam o seu pacto e os seus testemunhos.

Salmo 25:14 (AMP) O segredo [do doce e satisfatório companheirismo] do Senhor tem aqueles que o temem (reverenciam e adoram), e Ele lhes mostrará Seu pacto e revelará a eles seu significado [profundo, interno].

O companheirismo pertence àqueles que reverenciam e adoram ao Senhor, guardando Seu mandamento de: “Amem uns aos outros como eu os amei”. A vida no caminho estreito do Senhor tem a ver com construir um relacionamento com Ele e com o Pai enquanto o Espírito Santo trabalha para nos moldar internamente à imagem de Jesus.

À medida que seu relacionamento cresce, você O reconhecerá como misericordioso, firme em Seu amor por você, verdadeiro em todos os Seus caminhos e fiel à Sua palavra. À medida que seu relacionamento cresce, você virá a conhecê-lo como seu companheiro constante, que Ele é por você e não contra.

Permaneça no Caminho Estreito, obedecendo ao mandamento de amar e você encontrará o Senhor para ser o amante da sua alma através de quem todas as coisas boas fluem.

Asking For Wisdom 

1 Kings 3:5 (AMP) In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night. And God said, Ask, what I shall give you.

If the Lord appeared to you and said, “Ask, what I shall give you”, what would be your answer?  Would you ask for riches, long wealth, or maybe power?

1 Kings 3:8-12 Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people who cannot be counted for multitude. So give Your servant an understanding mind and a hearing heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and bad. For who is able to judge and rule this Your great people? It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. God said to him, Because, you have asked this and have not asked for long life or for riches, nor for the lives of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to recognize what is just and right, Behold, I have done as you asked. I have given you a wise, discerning mind, so that no one before you was your equal, nor shall any arise after you equal to you. I have also given you what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there shall not be any among the kings, equal to you all your days.

Solomon asked for an understanding mind (wisdom) and a hearing heart to judge so that he could discern between good and evil which were essential tools to carry out his assignment. We too can ask for wisdom.

James 1:5 (NKJV) If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

The wisdom that we need is not only knowledge but also the ability to make wise decisions especially in difficult circumstances. As Christians, we can pray for wisdom and God will liberally give us what we need. However, there is a condition to our receiving the answer to our prayer.

James 1:6 (NKJV) But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

Faith is essentially trust and trust in God comes as you devote time to build your relationship with Him.

Ending Thoughts

When you take up your cross to obey the commandment to love you, have taken the first step to building a relationship with Jesus Christ and Father. As time passes, your worldly desires will fade, and your desire to know God and your trust in Him will increase. And when you ask you will receive. Therefore, at all costs, stay on the Narrow Path.

Pedindo Sabedoria

1 Reis 3:5 (AMP) Em Gibeão, o Senhor apareceu a Salomão em sonhos durante a noite. E Deus disse: Pergunte o que eu te darei.

Se o Senhor aparecer para você e disser: “Pergunte o que eu lhe darei”, qual seria sua resposta? Você pediria riquezas, muito dinheiro ou talvez poder?

1 Reis 3:8-12 O teu servo está no meio do teu povo que escolheste, um grande povo que não pode ser contado em multidão. Dai ao teu servo entendimento e coração para julgar o teu povo, para que eu possa discernir entre o bem e o mal. Pois quem é capaz de julgar e governar este Seu grande povo? Agradou ao Senhor que Salomão tivesse pedido isto. Disse-lhe Deus: Porque pediste isto, e não pediste vida longa nem riquezas, nem pelas vidas dos teus inimigos, mas pedistes entendimento para reconhecer o que é justo e reto, Eis que tenho feito como você pediu. Eu te dei uma mente sábia e perspicaz, para que ninguém antes de você fosse igual a você, nem surgiria depois de você igual a você. Também te dei o que não pediste, riquezas e honra, para que entre os reis não haja nenhum igual a todos os teus dias.

Salomão pediu uma mente compreensiva (sabedoria) e um coração de audição para julgar, de modo que pudesse discernir entre o bem e o mal, que eram ferramentas essenciais para cumprir sua designação. Nós também podemos pedir sabedoria.   

Tiago 1:55 Se algum de vós tem falta de sabedoria, peça-a a Deus, que a todos derramará liberalmente e sem opróbrio, e ser-lhe-á dado.

A sabedoria de que precisamos não é apenas conhecimento, mas também a capacidade de tomar decisões sábias, especialmente em circunstâncias difíceis. Como cristãos, podemos orar por sabedoria e Deus nos dará liberalmente o que precisamos. No entanto, existe uma condição para recebermos a resposta à nossa oração.

Tiago 1:6 Mas peça, com fé, sem duvidar, porque quem duvida é como uma onda do mar, impelida e agitada pelo vento. 

Fé é essencialmente confiança e confiança em Deus, quando você dedica tempo para construir seu relacionamento com Ele.

Concluindo a meditação

Quando você toma sua cruz para obedecer ao mandamento de amar você, deu o primeiro passo para construir um relacionamento com Jesus Cristo e o Pai. Com o passar do tempo, seus desejos mundanos desaparecerão e seu desejo de conhecer a Deus e sua confiança Nele aumentará. E quando você perguntar, você receberá. Portanto, a todo custo, fique no caminho estreito.

EUA, UMA NAÇÃO QUE NECESSITA URGENTEMENTE DO MOVER DO SANTO ESPÍRITO

Quão triste é ver os EUA destruir a sua própria juventude!!! Aonde estão os profetas de Deus que choram por aquela nação?!

A MENTIRA SATÂNICA SOBRE OS GÊNEROS

Mais dois novos livros publicados nos EUA sobre gênero para o ensino de crianças na faixa etária de 4 a 10 anos de idade, e o outro para adolescentes.

Os de pouco entendimento, para não trazê-los ao nível da imbecilidade, usam o arco-íris, através de suas cores, para "simbolizar" a diversidade de gêneros.

Passemos a ensiná-los sobre a verdade:

"Então Deus estabeleceu uma aliança com toda a humanidade e todos os seres vivos. Ele prometeu que nunca mais iria matar toda a vida na terra com um dilúvio. Como sinal dessa aliança eterna, Deus criou o arco-íris." (Gênesis 9:14-16)

Então, o que significa o arco-íris mesmo? Realmente, a imbecilidade é um dom! 

"Algumas pessoas dizem que só existem dois gêneros, mas na verdade existem vários gêneros..."

Curioso é que a primeira pessoa que afirmou existirem apenas 2 gêneros foi o próprio criador dos seres humanos: Deus, portanto, criou os seres humanos à sua imagem, à imagem de Deus os criou: macho e fêmea os criou."  Gênesis 1:27 

"Esclareceu-lhes Jesus: 'Moisés vos deixou escrita essa lei por causa da dureza dos vossos corações!'. Entretanto, no princípio da criação Deus os fez homem e mulher".  Marcos 10:5-6

Looking Away to Jesus

Hebrews 12:1–3 (AMP) THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who, is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.  

The word “therefore”, at the beginning of verse one points back to the trials and tribulations the cloud of witnesses suffered as Christians. Some were beaten to death with clubs, others suffered mocking, scourging, and imprisonment. Some were stoned to death, others sawn asunder, and still others were cast out of society and forced to wander about in sheep skins and live in caves. All of these people suffered dearly but never gave up on Christ because they were focused on and strengthened by Jesus.

Verses one, two, and three present solid advice for those that are pursuing a relationship with Father God and Jesus His son. First strip off all sin and worldly entanglements and run with patient endurance (continue on the Narrow Path). Second, when things get difficult, look to Jesus to strengthen your faith. And third, think of Jesus and all that He suffered to keep your mind from growing weary and fainting.

Ending Thought

Pursuit of a relationship with Father and Jesus, is a life-long journey on the Narrow Path of obedience that demands patient endurance and focus, beyond our abilities. Thus, we must learn to draw our strength from Jesus along the way.

Olhando para longe para Jesus

Hebreus 12:1-3 (AMP) Portanto, visto que estamos cercados por uma nuvem tão grande de testemunhas [que deram testemunho da Verdade], retiremos e joguemos de lado todo peso (peso desnecessário) e aquele pecado que tão prontamente (hábil e inteligentemente) se apega e nos enlaça, e deixe-nos correr com perseverança paciente e persistência firme e ativa o curso designado da raça que é colocada diante de nós, desviando o olhar [de tudo o que irá distrair] para Jesus, Quem, é o Líder e a Fonte da nossa fé [dando o primeiro incentivo para a nossa crença] e é também o seu Finalizador [trazendo-o à maturidade e perfeição]. Ele, pela alegria [de obter o prêmio] que foi colocado diante Ele, suportou a cruz, desprezando e ignorando a vergonha, e agora está assentado à destra do trono de Deus. Apenas pense naquele que suportou dos pecadores tão grave oposição e amarga hostilidade contra si mesmo [considere e considere tudo isso em comparação com suas provações], para que não se cansem, perdendo o ânimo, relaxando e desmaiando em suas mentes.

A palavra “portanto”, no começo do versículo 1, aponta para as provações e tribulações que a nuvem de testemunhas sofreu como cristãos. Alguns foram espancados até a morte com tacos, outros sofreram escárnio, flagelação e prisão. Alguns foram apedrejados até a morte, outros foram sepultados, e outros ainda foram expulsos da sociedade e forçados a vagar em peles de ovelhas e viver em cavernas. Todas essas pessoas sofreram muito, mas nunca desistiram de Cristo porque foram focadas e fortalecidas por Jesus.

Versos 1, 2 e 3 apresentam conselhos sólidos para aqueles que estão buscando um relacionamento com o Pai Deus e com Jesus, Seu filho. Primeiro retire todo o pecado e os envolvimentos do mundo e corra com perseverança paciente (continue no Caminho Estreito). Segundo, quando as coisas ficam difíceis, olhe para Jesus para fortalecer sua fé. E terceiro, pense em Jesus e em tudo o que Ele sofreu para evitar que sua mente se canse e desmaie.

Concluindo a meditação

A busca de um relacionamento com o Pai e com Jesus é uma jornada para a vida toda no Estreito Caminho da obediência, que exige perseverança pacienciosa e concentração, além de nossas habilidades. Assim, devemos aprender a extrair nossa força de Jesus ao longo do caminho.

Meditation 111

Are You Sleeping?

Luke 22:40-46 (ESV)  And when he came to the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.” And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow, and he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

This scene is from the last night of Jesus’ life. He and His disciples have come into the garden in the dim light of dusk. Knowing the darkest night of temptation just Jesus tells them “pray that you may not enter into temptation.” Leaving them to pray, Jesus withdrew a stone’s throw away, knelt down, and prayed in preparation for the most terrifying temptation of His earthly life. The pressure was so intense that an angel appeared and strengthened Him. When He arose from prayer and went to His disciples He found them sleeping while the historical event of His dying to become the sacrifice for man’s sin was unfolding. 

Fast forward to today and realize the historical rapture of the church is about to take place. Now ask yourself these questions: Am I sleeping or am I preparing? Where am I storing treasure on earth or in heaven? Am I getting to know Jesus better? Is there oil in my lamp?

Ending Thoughts

Knowing Christ is the central issue of life on earth and eternal life.  We should be growing closer and closer to Him as each day passes. Take a break from the activities of life and talk to Jesus and there by prepare for the rapture and grow your relationship.

Você está dormindo?

Lucas 22:40-46 (ESV) E quando ele chegou ao lugar, ele lhes disse: “Ore para que você não entre em tentação.” E ele retirou-se deles a cerca de um tiro de pedra, e se ajoelhou e orou dizendo: “Pai, se queres, tira este cálice de mim. Todavia não se faça a minha vontade, mas a tua. E apareceu-lhe um anjo do céu, fortalecendo-o. E estando em agonia, ele orou mais fervorosamente; e seu suor tornou-se como grandes gotas de sangue caindo no chão. E quando ele se levantou da oração, ele foi até aos discípulos e os achou dormindo para tristeza, e ele lhes disse: “Por que vocês estão dormindo? Levantem-se e orem para que vocês não entrem em tentação ”.

Esta cena é da última noite da vida de Jesus. Ele e Seus discípulos vieram ao jardim na penumbra do crepúsculo. Conhecendo a noite mais escura da tentação, apenas Jesus diz a eles “orem para que não entrem em tentação”. Deixando-os para orar, Jesus retirou-se a poucos passos, ajoelhou-se e orou em preparação para a mais terrível tentação de Sua vida terrena. A pressão foi tão intensa que um anjo apareceu e o fortaleceu. Quando Ele se levantou da oração e foi para Seus discípulos, encontrou-os dormindo enquanto o evento histórico de Sua morte para se tornar o sacrifício pelo pecado do homem estava se desdobrando.

Avancemos para hoje e percebamos que o arrebatamento histórico da igreja está prestes a acontecer. Agora, faça a si mesmo estas perguntas: Estou dormindo ou estou me preparando? Onde estou guardando tesouro na terra ou no céu? Eu estou conhecendo melhor Jesus? Há óleo na minha lâmpada?

Concluindo a meditação

Conhecer a Cristo é a questão central da vida na terra e da vida eterna. Devemos estar nos aproximando cada vez mais dele a cada dia que passa. Faça uma pausa nas atividades da vida e fale com Jesus e prepare-se para o arrebatamento e cresça seu relacionamento.

Living Among Sheep

         

1 Samuel 17:20 (AMP) So David rose up early next morning, left the sheep with a keeper, took the provisions, and went, as Jesse had commanded him. And he came to the encampment as the host going forth to the battleground shouted the battle cry.

There are times when you may feel life on the Narrow Path has brought you to a lonely wilderness place where you are living amid sheep (people) that do not understand your pursuit of God is the most important thing in your life. They may point to the green grass or the clear running stream and tell you to be satisfied with the provisions God has given. They do not understand the importance of knowing God intimately, they are satisfied with the things of this world.

But there comes a day when they will have to face the Goliaths in their lives and because they do not know God, will shrink back in fear from the battle. Experience in the ways of the world and human strength cannot take you past what you consider insurmountable, but the wisdom and strength that comes from relationship with God has no bounds. For with God all things are possible. 

It is not important that people understand you or your pursuit of God. What is important is that you stay on the Narrow Path and allow Holy Spirit to mold you inwardly into the image of God so that when Goliath appears to challenge you or your brethren you will be up to the task.

Ending Thoughts

Stay on the path brethren God will complete that which He has started in your life. There are people that need Jesus and you to point the way to Him.

Meditação 110

Viver entre ovelhas

1 Samuel 17:20 Então Davi levantou-se de madrugada, deixou a ovelha com um guarda, tomou as provisões e partiu, como Jessé ordenara. E ele chegou ao acampamento quando o anfitrião, indo para o campo de batalha, gritou o grito de guerra.

Há momentos em que você pode sentir que a vida no Caminho Estreito o levou a um lugar deserto sozinho onde você está morando em meio a ovelhas (pessoas) que não entendem que sua busca por Deus é a coisa mais importante em sua vida. Eles podem apontar para a grama verde ou a correnteza clara e dizer-lhe para estar satisfeito com as provisões que Deus deu. Eles não entendem a importância de conhecer a Deus intimamente, eles estão satisfeitos com as coisas deste mundo.

Mas chega o dia em que eles terão que enfrentar os Golias em suas vidas e, por não conhecerem Deus, recuarão com medo da batalha. A experiência nos caminhos do mundo e da força humana não pode levá-lo além do que você considera intransponível, mas a sabedoria e a força que vem do relacionamento com Deus não tem limites. Pois com Deus todas as coisas são possíveis.

Não é importante que as pessoas entendam você ou sua busca por Deus. O importante é que você permaneça no Caminho Estreito e permita que o Espírito Santo o molde interiormente à imagem de Deus, de modo que quando Golias aparecer para desafiar você ou seus irmãos, você estará à altura da tarefa.

Concluindo a meditação

Permaneça no caminho irmão, Deus completará aquilo que Ele iniciou em sua vida. Há pessoas que precisam de Jesus e de você para apontar o caminho para Ele.
