A WIFE FOR JESUS CHRIST, YOU AND ME!

                                   A wife for Jesus Christ, you and me.

    The text in which we will meditate on today is one of the most beautiful stories we ever find in the Old Testament; a story of marriage, everlasting love and eternal life. Follow the text below where this wonderful experience of the protagonists Abraham, Eliezer, Isaac and Rebekah is found.

^"The servant said to him, “Suppose the woman will not be willing to follow me back to this country; should I take your son back to the country from which you came?” Abraham said to him, “See to it that you do not take my son back there! The Lord, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house, from the land of my family and my birth, who spoke to me and swore to me, saying, ‘To your descendants I will give this land’—He will send His angel before you [to guide you], and you will take a wife from there for my son [and bring her here]. If the woman is not willing to follow you [to this land], then you will be free from this my oath and blameless; only you must never take my son back there.” So the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter. Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels, and set out, taking some of his master’s good things with him; so he got up and journeyed to ^]Mesopotamia [between the Tigris and the Euphrates Rivers], to the city of Nahor [the home of Abraham’s brother]. He made the camels kneel down outside the city by the well of water at the time of the evening when women go out to draw water. And he said, “O Lord, God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today, and show loving kindness (faithfulness) to my master Abraham. Behold, I stand here at the spring of water, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water; now let it be that the girl to whom I say, ‘Please, let down your jar so that I may [have a] drink,’ and she replies, ‘Drink, and I will also give your camels water to drink’—may she be the one whom You have selected [as a wife] for Your servant Isaac; and by this I will know that You have shown loving kindness (faithfulness) to my master.” Before Eliezer had finished speaking (praying), Rebekah came out with her [water] jar on her shoulder. Rebekah was the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, who was the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor. The girl was very beautiful, a virgin and unmarried; and she went down to the spring and filled her jar and came up. Then the servant ran to meet her, and said, “Please let me drink a little water from your jar.” And she said, “Drink, my lord”; and she quickly lowered her jar to her hand, and gave him a drink. When she had given Eliezer a drink, she said, “I will also draw water for your camels until they have finished drinking.” So she quickly emptied her jar into the trough, and ran again to the well and drew water for all his camels. Meanwhile, the man stood gazing at Rebekah in [reverent] silence, [waiting] to know if the Lord had made his trip successful or not. When the camels had finished drinking, Eliezer took a gold ring weighing a half-shekel and two bracelets for her hands weighing ten shekels in gold, ²³ and said, “Whose daughter are you? Please tell me, is there room in your father’s house for us to lodge?” And she said to him, “I am the daughter of Bethuel, Milcah’s son, whom she bore to [her husband] Nahor.” Again she said to him, “We have plenty of both straw and feed, and also room to lodge.” The man bowed his head and worshiped the Lord. He said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who has not denied His lovingkindness and His truth to my master. As for me, the Lord led me to the house of my master’s brothers.” Then the girl ran and told her mother’s household what had happened. Now Rebekah had a brother whose name was Laban; and Laban ran out to the man at the well. When he saw the ring and the bracelets on his sister’s arms, and when he heard Rebekah his sister, saying, “The man said this to me,” he went to Eliezer and found him standing by the camels at the spring. And Laban said, “Come in, blessed of the Lord! Why do you stand outside since I have made the house ready and have prepared a place for the camels?” So the man came into the house, and Laban unloaded his camels and gave them straw and feed, and [he gave] water to [Eliezer to] wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him. But when food was set before him, he said, “I will not eat until I have stated my business.” And Laban said, “Speak on.” So he said, “I am Abraham’s servant. The Lord has greatly blessed my master, and he has become great (wealthy, powerful); He has given him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and servants and maids, and camels and donkeys. Now Sarah my master’s wife bore a son to my master when she was in her old age, and he has given everything that he has to him. My master made me swear [an oath], saying, ‘You must not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I live; but you shall [instead] go to my father’s house and to my family and take a wife for my son [Isaac].’ Then I said to my master, ‘But suppose the woman will not follow me [back to this land].’ He said to me, ‘The Lord, before whom I walk [habitually and obediently], will send His angel with you to make your journey successful, and you will take a wife for my son from my relatives and from my father’s house; then you will be free of my oath, when you come to my relatives; and if they do not give her to you, you will [also] be free of my oath.’ “I came today to the spring, and said, ‘O Lord, God of my master Abraham, if now You will make my journey on which I go successful; please look, I am standing by the spring of water; now let it be that when the maiden [whom You have chosen for Isaac] comes out to draw [water], and to whom I say, “Please, give me a little water to drink from your jar”; and if she says to me, “You drink, and I will also draw [water] for your camels”; let that woman be the one whom the Lord has selected and chosen [as a wife] for my master’s son.’ “Before I had finished praying in my heart, behold, Rebekah came out with her [water] jar on her shoulder, and she went down to the spring and drew water. And I said to her, ‘Please, let me have a drink.’ And she quickly let down her jar from her shoulder, and said, ‘Drink, and I will also water your camels’; so I drank, and she also watered the camels. Then I asked her, ‘Whose daughter are you?’ She said, ‘The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor’s son, whom Milcah bore to him’; and I put the ring in her nose, and the bracelets on her arms. And I bowed down my head and worshiped the Lord, and blessed the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me in the right way to take the daughter of my master’s brother to his son [as a wife]. So now if you are going to show kindness and truth to my master [being faithful to him], tell me; and if not, tell me, that I may turn to the right or to the left [and go on my way].” Then Laban and Bethuel answered, “The matter has come from the Lord; so we dare not speak bad or good [to you about it—we cannot interfere]. Rebekah is before you; take her and go, and let her be the wife of your master’s son, as the Lord has spoken.” When Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed himself to the ground [in worship] before the Lord. Then the servant brought out jewelry of silver, jewelry of gold, and articles of clothing, and gave them to Rebekah; he also gave precious things to her brother and her mother. Then he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night [there]. In the morning when they got up, he said, “Now send me back to my master.” But Rebekah’s brother and mother said, “Let the girl stay with us a few days—at least ten; then she may go.” But Eliezer said to them, “Do not delay me, since the Lord has prospered my way. Send me away, so that I may go back to my master.” And they said, “We will call the girl and ask her what she prefers.” So they called Rebekah and said, “Will you go with this man?” And she answered, “I will go.” So they sent off their sister Rebekah and her nurse [Deborah, as her attendant] and Abraham’s servant [Eliezer] and his men. They blessed Rebekah and said to her, “May you, our sister, Become [the mother of] thousands of ten thousands, And may your descendants possess (conquer) The [city] gate of those who hate them.” Then Rebekah and her attendants stood, and they mounted camels and followed the man. So the servant took Rebekah and went on his way. Now Isaac had returned from going to Beer-lahai-roi (Well of the Living One Who Sees Me), for he was living in the Negev. Isaac went out to bow down [in prayer] in the field in the [early] evening; he raised his eyes and looked, and camels were coming. Rebekah also raised her eyes and looked, and when she saw Isaac, she dismounted from her camel. She said to the servant, “Who is that man there walking across the field to meet us?” And the servant said, “He is my master [Isaac].” So she took a veil and covered herself [as was customary]. The servant told Isaac everything that he had done. Then Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and he took Rebekah [in marriage], and she became his wife, and he loved her; therefore Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death."

    In this text, Abraham is a representation of God the Father, who seeks a bride and wife for his beloved Son. Eliezer, who goes in search of the wife, is a typification of the Holy Spirit who seeks and leads the bride to the groom. Jesus Christ, the bridegroom, is represented in the figure of Isaac. And Rebeca? It is the bride; you and I.

    Would you be willing to go with the Holy Spirit wherever He takes you? Say how Rebeca said: 'I want'. And be so eager to serve as Rebekah did who not spared any effort to even draw water for Eliezer various camels. Remembering that a thirsty camel can drink up to 100 liters (20 gallons) of water at a time and that water was removed from the well with a bucket!

    God does not want us to return to the yoke of captivity, Egypt, Babylon to stay there, but as a loving Father he wants to rescue us and bring us to his beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

    Jesus Christ, your Beer-lahai-roi or "the well of Him that lives and sees me", is waiting for you at the edge of His well from which He Himself will give you the water of life so you will never be thirsty again because He is that water gushing up to eternal life. Please, read John 4:1-15.

    Do not be afraid to follow the Holy Spirit wherever He leads you. Just believe, trust in Him and you will be present on that day at the Lamb's wedding, which will be your own marriage to the Lord Jesus Christ forever. Amen

"Then the angel said to me, 'Write, Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.' And he said to me [further], 'These are the true and exact words of God.'" Revelation 19:9

UMA ESPOSA PARA JESUS CRISTO, VOCÊ E EU!

    O texto no qual meditaremos hoje é uma das estórias mais lindas que encontramos no Velho Testamento; uma estória de casamento, amor imperecível e vida eternal. Segue o texto abaixo onde essa maravilhosa experiência dos protagonistas Abraão, Eliezer, Isaque e Rebeca se encontra.

 

"O empregado perguntou: - E o que é que eu faço se a moça não quiser vir comigo? Devo levar o seu filho de volta para a terra de onde o senhor veio? Abraão respondeu: - Não! Não faça o meu filho voltar para lá, de jeito nenhum! O Senhor, o Deus do céu, me tirou da casa do meu pai e da terra dos meus parentes e jurou que daria esta terra aos meus descendentes. Ele vai enviar o seu Anjo para guiá-lo, e assim você conseguirá arranjar uma mulher para o meu filho. Se a moça não quiser vir, você ficará livre deste juramento. Porém não leve o meu filho de volta para lá, de jeito nenhum. Então o empregado pôs a mão por baixo da coxa de Abraão e jurou que faria o que ele havia ordenado. Em seguida o empregado pegou dez camelos de Abraão e uma porção de presentes e foi até a cidade onde Naor havia morado, na Mesopotâmia. Quando o empregado chegou, fez os camelos se ajoelharem perto do poço, fora da cidade. Era de tardinha, a hora em que as mulheres vinham buscar água. Aí ele orou assim: - Ó Senhor, Deus do meu patrão Abraão, faze com que tudo dê certo e sê bondoso para o meu patrão. Eu estou aqui perto do poço aonde as moças da cidade vêm para tirar água. Vou dizer a uma delas: 'Por favor, abaixe o seu pote para que eu beba um pouco de água.' Se ela disser assim: 'Beba, e eu vou dar água também para os seus camelos', que seja essa a moça que escolheste para o teu servo Isaque. Se isso acontecer, ficarei sabendo que foste bondoso para o meu patrão. Ele nem havia acabado a oração, quando Rebeca veio, carregando o seu pote no ombro. Ela era filha de Betuel, que era filho de Milca e de Naor, o irmão de Abraão. Rebeca era uma linda moça, ainda virgem; nenhum homem havia tocado nela. Ela desceu até o poço, encheu o seu pote e subiu. Então o empregado de Abraão foi correndo se encontrar com ela e disse: - Por favor, deixe que eu beba um pouco da água do seu pote. - O senhor pode beber - respondeu ela. E rapidamente abaixou o pote e o segurou enquanto ele bebia. Depois de lhe dar de beber, a moça disse: - Vou tirar água também para os seus camelos e lhes darei de beber o quanto quiserem. Rapidamente ela despejou a água no bebedouro e correu várias vezes ao poço a fim de tirar água para todos os camelos. Enquanto isso o homem, sem dizer nada, ficou observando a moça para saber se o Senhor Deus havia ou não abençoado a sua viagem. Quando os camelos acabaram de beber, o homem pegou uma argola de ouro, que pesava seis gramas, e colocou no nariz dela. E também lhe deu duas pulseiras de ouro, que pesavam mais de cem gramas. Em seguida perguntou: - Por favor, diga quem é o seu pai. Será que na casa dele há lugar para os meus homens e eu passarmos a noite? Ela respondeu: - Eu sou filha de Betuel, filho de Milca e de Naor. Na nossa casa há lugar para dormir e também bastante palha e capim para os camelos. Então o homem se ajoelhou e adorou a Deus, o Senhor. Ele disse: - Bendito seja o Senhor, o Deus de Abraão, o meu patrão! Pois foi fiel e bondoso com ele, guiando-me diretamente até a casa dos seus parentes. A moça foi correndo para a casa da sua mãe e contou o que havia acontecido. Rebeca tinha um irmão chamado Labão, o qual viu a argola no nariz da irmã e as pulseiras nos seus braços e a ouviu contar o que o homem tinha dito para ela. Labão saiu correndo e foi buscar o empregado de Abraão, que havia ficado de pé, ao lado dos camelos, ali perto do poço. Labão disse: - Venha comigo, homem abençoado por Deus, o Senhor. Por que você está aí fora? Já preparei a casa e também o lugar para os camelos. Então o homem entrou na casa. Labão tirou a carga dos camelos e lhes deu palha e capim. Depois trouxe água para que o empregado de Abraão e os seus companheiros lavassem os pés. Quando trouxeram a comida, o homem disse: - Eu não vou comer enquanto não disser o que tenho para dizer. - Fale - disse Labão. Então ele disse o seguinte: - Eu sou empregado de Abraão. O Senhor Deus abençoou muito o meu patrão, e ele ficou rico. O Senhor lhe deu rebanhos de ovelhas e cabras, gado, prata, ouro, escravos e escravas, camelos e jumentos. Sara, a sua mulher, mesmo depois de velha, deu um filho ao meu patrão, e o filho herdará tudo o que o pai tem. O meu patrão me fez jurar que eu faria o que ele ordenasse e me disse: 'Não deixe que o meu filho case com nenhuma mulher deste país de Canaã, onde estou morando. Vá até o lugar onde mora a família do meu pai e no meio dos meus parentes escolha uma mulher para ele.' Então eu lhe perguntei: 'E o que é que eu faço se a moça não quiser vir comigo?'  Ele me respondeu: 'Eu tenho obedecido fielmente a Deus, o Senhor. Ele enviará o seu Anjo para estar com você, e tudo dará certo. No meio da minha gente, na família do meu pai, você escolherá uma mulher para o meu filho. Se você falar com os meus parentes, e eles não quiserem dar a moça, então você ficará livre do juramento que me fez.' - E foi assim que hoje cheguei ao poço e disse a Deus o seguinte: 'Ó Senhor, ó Deus de Abraão, o meu patrão, eu peço que aquilo que vou fazer dê certo. Eu estou aqui ao lado do poço. Quando uma moça vier tirar água, eu vou pedir que me dê de beber da água do seu pote. Se ela concordar e também se oferecer para tirar água para os meus camelos, que seja essa a que escolheste para ser mulher do filho do meu patrão.' Eu nem havia acabado de fazer essa oração em silêncio, quando Rebeca veio com um pote no ombro, desceu até o poço e tirou água. Aí eu disse: 'Dê-me um pouco de água, por favor.' Ela abaixou depressa o seu pote e disse: 'Pode beber, e vou dar de beber também aos seus camelos.' Então eu bebi, e ela deu água também aos camelos. Em seguida perguntei: 'Quem é o seu pai?' Ela respondeu: 'Eu sou filha de Betuel, filho de Milca e de Naor.' Então coloquei uma argola no nariz dela e duas pulseiras nos seus braços. Eu me ajoelhei e adorei a Deus. E louvei o Senhor, o Deus de Abraão, o meu patrão, que me guiou diretamente aos seus parentes a fim de que eu levasse a filha do irmão do meu patrão para o seu filho. Agora, digam se vocês vão ser bondosos e sinceros com o meu patrão; se não, digam também, para que eu resolva o que fazer. Labão e Betuel responderam: - Tudo isso vem de Deus, o Senhor, e por isso não podemos dizer nada, nem a favor nem contra. Aqui está Rebeca; leve-a com você. Que ela seja a mulher do filho do seu patrão, como o Senhor Deus já disse. Quando o empregado de Abraão ouviu essas palavras, ajoelhou-se, encostou o rosto no chão e adorou a Deus, o Senhor. Em seguida pegou vários objetos de prata e de ouro e vestidos e os deu a Rebeca. E também deu presentes caros ao irmão e à mãe dela. Então ele e os seus companheiros comeram e beberam, e passaram a noite ali. No outro dia de manhã, quando se levantaram, o empregado disse: - Deixem que eu volte para a casa do meu patrão. Mas o irmão e a mãe de Rebeca disseram: - É melhor que ela fique com a gente alguns dias, talvez uns dez, e depois poderá ir. Mas o empregado respondeu: - Não me façam ficar aqui. O Senhor Deus fez com que a minha viagem desse certo; deixem que eu volte para a casa do meu patrão. Então eles disseram: - Vamos chamar Rebeca para ver o que ela diz. Eles chamaram a moça e lhe perguntaram: - Você quer ir com este homem? - Quero - respondeu ela. Aí deixaram que Rebeca e a mulher que havia sido sua babá fossem com o empregado de Abraão e os seus companheiros. E abençoaram Rebeca, dizendo: 'Que você, nossa irmã, seja mãe de milhões! Que os seus descendentes conquistem as cidades dos seus inimigos!' Então Rebeca e as suas empregadas se prepararam, montaram os camelos e seguiram o empregado de Abraão. E assim eles foram embora. Isaque tinha vindo ao deserto onde ficava o 'Poço Daquele que Vive e Me Vê', pois morava no sul de Canaã. Ele havia saído à tardinha para dar um passeio pelo campo, quando viu que vinham vindo camelos. Rebeca também olhou e, quando viu Isaque, desceu do camelo e perguntou ao empregado: - Quem é aquele homem que vem andando pelo campo na nossa direção? - É o meu patrão - respondeu ele. Aí ela pegou o véu e cobriu o rosto. O empregado contou a Isaque tudo o que havia feito. Então Isaque levou Rebeca para a barraca onde Sara, a sua mãe, havia morado, e ela se tornou a sua mulher. Isaque amou Rebeca e assim foi consolado depois da morte da sua mãe." Gênesis 24:5-67

 

    Neste texto, Abraão é uma representação de Deus Pai, aquele que procura uma noiva e esposa para o seu Filho. Eliezer, que vai à busca da esposa, é uma tipificação do Espírito Santo que vai buscar e conduz a noiva até ao noivo. Jesus Cristo, o noivo, é representado na figura de Isaque. E Rebeca? É a noiva; você e eu.

    Você gostaria de ir com o Espírito Santo por onde Ele lhe levar? Diga como Rebeca 'quero'. E esteja tão desejoso de servir como Rebeca que não mediu nenhum esforço para retirar água para os vários camelos. Lembrando que um camelo com sede pode beber até 100 litros de água por vez e essa água foi retirada do poço com balde!

    Deus não deseja que nós voltemos para o jugo do cativeiro, do Egito, da Babilônia para lá ficarmos, mas como um Pai amável quer nos resgatar e nos levar até ao seu Filho amado, Jesus Cristo.

    Jesus Cristo, o seu Beer-laai-roi ou "o poço dAquele que vive e me vê", está a sua espera à beira do seu poço do qual Ele mesmo lhe dará a água da vida e você nunca mais terá sede, pois Ele é essa água que jorra para a vida eterna. Leia João 4:1-15.

    Não tenha medo de seguir o Espírito Santo para onde Ele quer lhe conduzir. Apenas creia, confie e você estará naquele dia presente no casamento do Cordeiro, que será o seu próprio casamento com o Senhor Jesus Cristo para todo o sempre. Amém

"THE INFINITE IN THE BEGINNING" - AN ESSAY TO DAVID DEUTSCH IN HIS "THE BEGINNING OF INFINITY" - EBER STEVAO

David Deutsch writes a book entitled "The Beginning of Infinity" and I would like to bring light to "The Infinite in the Beginning" as a philosophical essay.

In the majority of the chapters of his book several meanings on his idea about "the beginning of infinity" are encountered, such as, but not limited to: a) Creation of knowledge, b) The mysterious universality to which the genetic code jumped, c) A window on infinity, d) The ending of the ancient aversion to the infinite (and the universal), e) Mini-enlightenments like those of Athens and Florence were potential beginnings of infinity, f) The rejection of bad philosophy, g) Biological evolution was merely a finite preface to the main story of evolution, and h) The unbounded evolution of memes.

He unmistakably discusses theories, philosophers, Karl Popper among several others. Philosophically discusses the earthly seasons, dangerously adventures himself into discussing creation, creationism, and neo-Darwinian theory, quantum physics applied on interference and multiverse, evolution of creativity which shows an absorbing aspect of an unquiet mind.

God is infinite and eternal, characteristics which we only can imagine but never truly scientifically measure it because we reside in a finite vessel containing both eternal and infinite, soul and spirit, which was expressed this way: "then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it." Ecclesiastes 12:7.

Because He created everything centered in Himself from His infinite knowledge, I put forward the comprehension that everything which is infinite in itself has His characteristic of infinite extent.

Not everything was created with the principle of infinity but what was created for eternity has the principle of infinity in itself. What is finite which He created serves to bring the counter notion of an infinite reality. With this idea I mean exactly what is written in Isaiah 40:14: "Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge, or showed him the path of understanding?" 

Who is capable of creating mathematical and physical infinite aspects which Deutsch conveys as a raison d'être? Only who is infinite in itself, capable of using the same principles of endlessness found in Himself reiterated in "…and your years will never end." Psalm 102:27.

So the beginning of the infinite is only found in God (Elohiym - God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) who together created the finite and the never-ending from an eternal perspective of infinity.

God created human beings in His image and likeness. Our infinite way of abstraction about infinity and aptitude to discussing it per se is an infinite representation of the Creator.

‘This is Earth. Not the eternal and only home of mankind, but only a starting point of an infinite adventure. All you need do is make the decision [to end your static society]. It is yours to make.’ [With that decision] came the end, the final end of Eternity. – And the beginning of Infinity wrote Isaac Asimov in 1955 in his novel The End of Eternity. 

David Deutsch and Isaac Asimov are constrained in their rationale or logic mind that man was created for finitude only breaking the barrier of eternity when adventures himself out of his static condition.

Both insisting in a possibility of the unlimited growth of knowledge in the future, seemed to remove the existence of the concept of eternity inserting the perception of infinity which can only exist within the eternity framework. A solid modifier, a meme using his own wording, with no infinity in itself.

Now, the only way to terminate the notion of eternity is getting rid of God from the human mind because a finite vessel with his predetermined power could never bring an end to what is eternal let alone destroying God from real existence. Unless if that mind uses the infinity yearning of knowledge to take out of equation the only authority in eternity which is represented by God.

David Deutsch ends his dense book with this very paragraph: "Many people have an aversion to infinity of various kinds. But there are some things that we do not have a choice about. There is only one way of thinking that is capable of making progress, or of surviving in the long run, and that is the way of seeking good explanations through creativity and criticism. What lies ahead of us is in any case infinity. All we can choose is whether it is an infinity of ignorance or of knowledge, wrong or right, death or life."

For sure what lies ahead of us is the eternity which will be infinite. Infinity without eternity and its Creator cannot exist or co-exist because they are mutually inclusive. Before us is presented life and death; eternal life or eternal death, leaving us the option to ignore the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His redemptive power for a saved eternity, a real infinity of days created by God.

Choose eternal life from the infinite in the beginning of all things which is centered in Jesus Christ because "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. " John 1:1-3, 14

"O INFINITO NO COMEÇO" - UM ENSAIO A DAVID DEUTSCH NO SEU "O COMEÇO DO INFINITO" - ÉBER STEVÃO

*Nota: De um ensaísta para um teólogo, filósofo, educador, meu pai Gilberto Stevão, e uma linguista, professora, educadora, minha mãe, Maria José de Lima Stevão.

          

          David Deutsch escreveu o seu livro intitulado "O Começo do Infinito - The Beginning of Infinity)" e eu gostaria de, na forma de um pequeno ensaio filosófico, trazer à luz "O Infinito no Começo".

          Na maioria dos capítulos do seu livro são encontrados vários significados sobre sua ideia do início do infinito, tais como, mas não se limitando aos tópicos: a) Criação do conhecimento, b) A misteriosa universalidade para a qual o código genético saltou, c) Uma janela no infinito, d) O fim da antiga aversão ao infinito (e o universal), e) Mini-iluminismos como os de Atenas e Florença foram começos potenciais do infinito, f) A rejeição da má filosofia, g) A evolução biológica foi meramente um prefácio finito para a história principal da evolução; h) O progresso ilimitado dos memes.

          Ele inequivocamente discute teorias, filósofos, Karl Popper entre vários outros. Discute filosoficamente as estações do tempo, perigosamente se aventura na discussão da criação, do criacionismo e da teoria neo-Darwiniana, a física quântica aplicada à interferência e multiverso, evolução da criatividade que representam um aspecto cativante de uma mente inquieta.

          Deus é infinito e eterno, características que só podemos imaginar, mas nunca verdadeiramente medi-las cientificamente, porque residimos em um recipiente finito, contendo alma e espírito, eternos e infinitos que foram caracterizados desta forma: "então o pó retornará à terra como ele era, e o espírito voltará para Deus que o deu." Eclesiastes 12: 7.

          Porque Ele criou tudo centrado em Si mesmo a partir da seu conhecimento infinito, proponho a compreensão de que tudo o que é infinito em si mesmo tem a característica dEle de extensão eterna.

          Nem tudo foi criado com o princípio do infinito, mas o que foi criado para a eternidade tem o princípio do infinitude em si. O que é finito que Ele criou serve para trazer a contranoção de uma realidade infinita. Com esta ideia quero dizer exatamente o que está escrito em Isaías 40:14: "A quem o Senhor consultou para o iluminar, e quem o ensinou o caminho certo? Quem foi que lhe ensinou o conhecimento, ou mostrou-lhe o caminho do entendimento?"

          Quem é capaz de criar os infinitos aspectos matemáticos e físicos que Deutsch transmite como razão de ser? Só quem é infinito em si mesmo é capaz de usar os mesmos princípios de infinitude encontrados em si mesmo reiterados em "...e os teus dias jamais terão fim." Salmo 102:27.

          Portanto, o início do infinito só é encontrado em Deus (Elohiym - Deus Pai, Filho e Espírito Santo) que juntos criaram o finito e o infinito, a partir de uma perspectiva eterna do infinito.

          Deus criou os seres humanos à Sua imagem e semelhança. Nossa capacidade infinita de abstração sobre o infinito e a aptidão para discutir sobre a coisa em si, talvez seja uma pequena representação infinita do Criador.

          ‘Esta é a Terra. Não o eterno e único lar da humanidade, mas apenas o ponto de partida de uma aventura infinita. Tudo o que você precisa fazer é tomar a decisão [de acabar com sua sociedade estática]. É sua para tomar. '[Com essa decisão] veio o fim, o fim final da Eternidade. - E o início do Infinito escreveu Isaac Asimov em 1955 em seu romance O Fim da Eternidade. David Deutsch e Isaac Asimov ficam restritos em seu raciocínio ou mente lógica de que o homem foi criado para a finitude, e que apenas consegue quebrar a barreira da eternidade quando se aventura para fora de sua condição estática.     

          Ambos insistindo na possibilidade de crescimento ilimitado do conhecimento no futuro, parecem retirar da existência o conceito de eternidade inserindo a percepção do infinito, porém esta só pode existir no âmbito da eternidade. Um modificador sólido, um meme, usando as próprias palavras de Deutsche, sem o infinito em si mesmo.

          Agora, a única maneira de acabar com a noção de eternidade é livrar-se de Deus na mente humana, porque um vaso finito com seu poder predeterminado nunca poderia acabar com o que é eterno, muito menos destruir a existência verdadeira de Deus. A menos que essa mente use o anseio infinito do conhecimento para tirar da equação a única autoridade sobre eternidade que é representada pelo próprio Deus.

          David Deutsch termina seu livro denso exatamente com este parágrafo: "Muitas pessoas têm aversão ao infinito de vários tipos. Mas há algumas coisas sobre as quais não temos escolha. Só existe uma maneira de pensar que é capaz de fazer progresso, ou de sobreviver no longo prazo, e essa é a maneira de buscar boas explicações por meio da criatividade e da crítica. O que está à nossa frente é, em todo caso, o infinito. Tudo o que podemos escolher é se é uma infinidade de ignorância ou de conhecimento, certo ou errado, morte ou vida."

          Com certeza o que está diante de nós é a eternidade que será infinita. O infinito sem eternidade e seu Criador não podem existir ou coexistir porque são mutuamente inclusivos. Diante de nós é apresentada a vida e a morte; vida eterna ou morte eterna, deixando-nos a opção de ignorar o conhecimento acerca de Jesus Cristo e do Seu poder redentor que oferece uma salvação eternal, uma infinidade real de dias criados por Deus.

          Escolha a vida eterna desde o infinito no começo de tudo que está centrada em Jesus Cristo porque "No princípio era o Verbo, e o Verbo estava com Deus, e o Verbo era Deus. Ele estava com Deus no princípio. Por meio dele todas as coisas eram feito; sem ele nada do que foi feito se fez. O Verbo se fez carne e habitou entre nós. Vimos a sua glória, a glória do único Filho, que veio do Pai, cheio de graça e de verdade." João 1: 1-3, 14
